Blackjack at Elements Casino Flamboro
Our casino is located at 967 ON-5 in Dundas, Ontario, and blackjack is one of the main drivers behind people making the trip out to Elements Casino Flamboro. The gaming floor covers both traditional live-dealer tables and electronic blackjack terminals, so we usually have a setup that fits how you like to play. We operate as part of the Great Canadian Entertainment network, under the Elements Casinos banner, with four properties in Ontario. Flamboro is the one that sits right beside the harness racing track at Flamboro Downs.
That link with the track matters more than it first sounds. You can stay outside for a live race, then step back indoors and sit at a blackjack table without ever leaving the property. In Ontario, not every casino offers that kind of “racing plus tables” night out.
Our live blackjack tables follow standard Ontario blackjack rules. The electronic terminals are there for players who do not want to wait for a seat, or who prefer to control the tempo on their own. Both formats are part of the regular gaming mix on our floor, but exact table counts and minimum bets will move around based on the day of the week, the time, and what is happening at the track.

A quick phone call before coming in on a Friday or Saturday really helps. Minimums and table availability can be different from what you expect from a previous visit.
Finding a Table When You Arrive
The layout on our floor is straightforward once you have walked in once or twice. Table games sit in a dedicated area, separated from the rows of slots. Blackjack tables show the minimum bet on a small sign at the table or printed right on the felt, so you can scan a few tables and decide if the stakes feel right before you sit down.
A first visit usually looks something like this:
- Come in through the main entrance off Highway 5 at the Flamboro Downs property.
- Move toward the table games area - staff at the information desk near the entrance will point you there if it is your first time.
- Take a look at the live blackjack tables, check for open seats and the posted minimums in front of the dealer.
- If every live table is full, walk over to the electronic blackjack terminals. Minimums are often lower there and you are not waiting on a seat.
- Keep valid government-issued photo ID handy. Ontario casinos check age at the door and there can be extra checks at the tables as well.
- When you sit, place your cash on the felt so the dealer can convert it into chips. We do not take money directly from your hand.
- Read through the rules displayed at the table before the next round starts, especially if you see side bets listed that you have not used before.
On weekend evenings, especially when there is live racing, we see heavier traffic at the tables. If you want more choice at live blackjack, arriving earlier in the session normally gives you more room to pick limits and seats.
